THE PROJECT
Simple, fun, identifiable and versatile are a few of the keywords derived from the creative brief for this project.
The Chickasaw Nation is one of the largest employers in Oklahoma. Nearly 14,000 people are employed by the tribe. Those employees work for the tribal government, or for one of its many business ventures across multiple cities in Oklahoma and other states and countries around the world.
The Chickasaw Nation created a unification initiative - One Tribe, One Mission - celebrating the diversity of its employees and the importance of their unique roles and functions within the tribe. As with any large organization spread across multiple locations and vast geographical distances, there can be a tendency for employees to feel disconnected and excluded. The One Tribe, One Mission efforts were a huge success with all tribal employees attending workshops and participating in events.
The Can Do campaign was a natural progression that extended the One Tribe, One Mission message into a call to action that encourages and empowers employees to be their very best and always have a winning attitude as they serve internal customers, tribal citizens and business patrons.
TIMELINE & WORK DONE
The timeframe for this project was very short and it was all completed in a few months.
For this project, I did the logo/branding to coordinate with the One Tribe, One Mission brand and materials already in use. I also wrote loose scripts for shooting documentary style video of many tribal employees across various areas of the tribe. The project called for 5 videos that would be included in training sessions - an intro video, and then one video for each of the topics in the acronym Can Do (Commitment, Attitude, Network,
Over several weeks of filming and editing, the following are the 5 videos as well as the final brand (and some other options that weren't selected).

Can Do! Is a customer service initiative created by the Chickasaw Nation Training Department. There are several training sessions and each one included a video.
